Therefore, say to the Israelites: ‘I am the Lord, and I will bring you out from under the yoke of the Egyptians. I will free you from being slaves to them, and I will redeem you with an outstretched arm and with mighty acts of judgment. I will take you as my own people, and I will be your God. Then you will know that I am the Lord your God, who brought you out from under the yoke of the Egyptians.
Chuck and Urshanna Colegrove moved to Oak Park in 2012 after serving as associate pastors in Houston, TX for 12 years. They founded Free Church following a vision that God stirred up in their hearts for a life-giving community of believers that represents and embraces Oak Park’s unique and vast diversity.
They spend their time meeting with and mentoring leaders, studying and preaching God’s Word, preparing and leading worship on Sunday mornings, hosting small group Bible studies, and caring and praying for Free Church members and the people of Oak Park every day. Their God-given heart’s desire is to see people saved, set free, made new, and fulfilled through the work of the Holy Spirit at Free Church.
Chuck and Urshanna, along with their four boys – Ethan, Elliot, Evan and Eli – love breakfast, traveling together, big gatherings with friends, watching detective shows and running marathons.
